And the break is over!!!


In less than 48hours the routine begins again. Waking up early to prepare  for school,teaching and learning activities, note-taking, homework, classwork,project, test, exam and all that exist in an ideal school setting.

You've got to realign yourself to this reality so you don't start on a shaky ground. The festivity is over. Teachers are getting ready to receive you. Are you ready to go back to school fully prepared? Or you are still ruminating over the excitement of the holiday?

Is your bag ready? What about your notes, textbook and other things. If you are moving to SS2 dear, continue with your old notes. If it's not allowed in your school please do keep them very well. You will need them when preparing for WASCCE.

Please get your personal reading time table ready. Don't wait till you see mid term test time table before you start cut and nail reading. Listen and ask question when necessary in class and make valuable contributions whenever there is need for it. Don't be distractive and passive in class. Don't waste your time on frivolities. Make good use of your school library. A reader is a leader. Always remember that you are not permitted to fail! #Teenagers' counsellor.

A teenager has allegedly committed suicide in Ekiugbo, Ughelli North of Delta State, following low scores in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Simply identified as Loveth, she was said to have been displeased that the 163 she scored is inadequate for her to study Medicine in the university. Loveth was found dead yesterday morning in her home. The Nation gathered that the deceased was suspected to have taken three bottles of a dangerous insecticide, known as Sniper. According to sources, Loveth had gone to check her result on Tuesday, and discovered that she scored far lower than she expected. The 18-year old was said to have left the result centre distraught and weeping profusely. A relative of the deceased, who spoke under condition of anonymity, said her parents, who still believed their daughter could still be revived, made last minute efforts to save her life. “She was said to have scored about 163 in the JAMB exam.
