Their Company or the Company?

When upon life billows you are tempestuous 
When you are discouraged thinking all is gone 
Count your many blessings money cannot buy
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done. 

 Much is left to be desired by the sudden change of 
events in our nation. A situation where teenagers in our higher institutions are committing suicide over trivial life challenges that will always come and go calls for sober reflection. 

 Just two weeks ago a Unilag student on the allegation that she stole some make-up kit killed herself and yesterday another girl committed suicide, a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic took the same snipper and died.  

 Is it the company producing the chemical that is at fault as some people are insinuating or our negligence as a people that is causing this havoc? Let's rob mind on this. What's your take?

A teenager has allegedly committed suicide in Ekiugbo, Ughelli North of Delta State, following low scores in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Simply identified as Loveth, she was said to have been displeased that the 163 she scored is inadequate for her to study Medicine in the university. Loveth was found dead yesterday morning in her home. The Nation gathered that the deceased was suspected to have taken three bottles of a dangerous insecticide, known as Sniper. According to sources, Loveth had gone to check her result on Tuesday, and discovered that she scored far lower than she expected. The 18-year old was said to have left the result centre distraught and weeping profusely. A relative of the deceased, who spoke under condition of anonymity, said her parents, who still believed their daughter could still be revived, made last minute efforts to save her life. “She was said to have scored about 163 in the JAMB exam.
